Recently WTOL ran a story
trying to help us do some recruiting, we are down approximately 9 people
from the maximum staffing of 35. ALOT of people are under the
presumption this these are true part time positions, and they are
not. We need people who live in the City,
and are either trained or we will train them to become EMT's and
Firefighters.
Here is the link to the story please stop in at the station or use
the email link below. Also if you are not sure of what it takes

April 2012-Each fiscal year
the RFRD has been lucky to get a grant from the State of Ohio, with the
dollar amount based on transport units. This year we were awarded
$3,000.00, back in February of 2011, the EMS Committee wanted to replace
some of the departments suction units a couple of which dated back to
1992. Over the last month 2 of the units have worn out and parts to
repair are scarce. So here are 3 new units to be put on each Medic Unit
and the Rescue Engine. We continue to strive to be the best equipped,
greatest care givers in our field !
